All our discs show a December expiry.

We CANNOT supply any other month.

Our clients generally prefer to have a Disc for the year of manufacture of their vehicle, showing the 12 month rate of duty paid. We normally fill them out this way unless specifically requested to show shorter periods.

From 1921 until 1960, a vehicle could be taxed for 3 months or 12 months, though the 12 month rate would always be shown on the Discs itself, with the actual amount paid being written on the counterfoil outside the Disc itself. The quarterly 3 month rate continued until early 1961.

From 1961, the 3 month rate was abolished and the 4 month rate was introduced. From 1961, the part-year rate paid was written on the Disc itself.

Unless otherwise requested, we will always show the 12 month rate on our Discs.
